1) [You have for one reason or another hired Captain John Day and his crew for services and he hands over a contract just when you think you were finished negotiating a deal]
Well, well - you picked the right crew to do your job but 'fore we get to work I have a little something to look over. Oh don't worry, it's just a simple contract assuring that we both hold up our end of the bargain.
2)
[It's a raiding party and your airship is the happening place. As The Wrath of Fate hook it's harpoon into your side, it starts reeling the airships close enough for John's crew to jump over]
You are about to be boarded! Surrender and laid down your arms and no one gets hurt!
[Do as he says or keep fighting?]
3)
NNngh - Blisterin' Blue Barnacles!
[John groaned as he reaches under his right (and normal) arm and unhooks something. Gingerly, he laid his mechanical arm on the table. With his hand, he starts kneading the air, in the shape of limb, even down to 'cracking' a 'knuckle' as the pained expression turns to relief]
4)
[The Captain's drinking alone and looking nothing like the boisterous man everyone knows him as. When he reaches over to grab a bottle to refill his mug, he knocks over a salt shaker. He glances left, then right, and throws a pinch of salt over his shoulder]
can never be too careful with that damn witch.
