Although this world wasn't what he had expected to see, Golbez accepted it. If they all were to somehow escape, they would have to fight and destroy the monsters that threatened them. And so he was doing just that, searching out those creatures and fighting against them. If doing so could help revive this dying universe -- if doing so could prevent any of his fellow abductees from being killed -- then he would gladly do so.
Upon entering an abandoned shop from which he'd heard noises, he realized he wasn't alone; there was another person here. He nodded to them, then cast his eyes about for any threat.

The child who summoned us to this world promised to grant us each one wish, no matter how impossible.
