To Mayfield

1. [Action/Mayfield High]

[It's about a little until noon which means that it's time for third period: world history. High school world history is the condensed study of the world, but mostly Europe, and it's often focused on its major events. This is about what students normally would expect. The world history teacher, a Japanese man sporting a pinstripe suit and red scarf around his neck, walks into the room. He gives his students a quick glance and begins writing on the chalkboard:

"The Last Battalion".]

Good morning, class. I expect you've been keeping up with your text up until now.

We have reached the end of our chapter on World War II. It seems that it's relevant to talk a little about this group. Who can tell me a little about the Last Battalion? [Kashihara looks left and right across the room and...]

Yes, how about you?

2. [Phone]

It hasn't even been a few weeks since my arrival to Mayfield, yet there have been signs of anxieties from my peers. There is no conscious person in this town who does not believe that we are all trapped. But remember, that doesn't mean our worlds were any different. They were just preferable.

The future in Mayfield is uncertain. Uncertainty breeds fear. All we can confide in the security of the unchanging past regardless of worlds. The past is the only source of comfort in all places. I would like to write a record of every world if only to encourage others to recollect. Would anybody be in favor of this project?

3. [Action/Spring Cleaning Event]

[Kashihara is an educator and a scholar. His job is to observe as events unfold around him, but from time to time, he likes giving people a little push in the right direction. It's also his job to give advice to anybody who might need it. In this case, he has been using his powers over rumors to alter the names that people were receiving. He revised them to fit various situations such as having multiple friends targeting another person in their group before having them kill each other off. To those that lacked power, Kashihara was more than happy to grant them strength and the will to fight.

His job is to act as an observer, but he was never good at limiting himself.

Of course, some people might have caught onto the man's actions. Or perhaps you're one of the people taking advantage of the chaos and thought, hey, there's someone worth killing. Either way, Kashihara responds by... smiling.]

... It looks like it's my turn. Well, go ahead. Kill me and claim your freedom. The only thing stopping you from returning home is me.

[A whirlwind of energy spirals madly around Kashihara. Above him is a towering image of a black, tentacled creature... His Persona.]

4. [Action: After Prompt 3]

[Somehow, Kashihara had been defeated. Up until now, he hasn't been given all of his abilities through the regains. The chances of dying at the hands of somebody inexplicably stronger were always present. Kashihara was running across the streets while clutching at his wounds. His pained grimace was marked with shame and contempt. He finds that his body can no longer move so he drags himself over to a nearby tree and sits underneath it.]

To be killed... as a human. Nothing could be more pathetic than this. It's too easy to be careless in this weak body...

I... won't accept it. I won't accept being beaten like this.
