Okay, I got the official story. Does anyone out there know what's really going on? Starting with why a fantasy garden has a better network than some Japanese towns, and ending with how we get home.

[Someone's been causing trouble. Whether a mild inconvenience or outright threat to life and liberty in the Gardens, she's facing either you or someone nearby with...a shinai. Unfortunately the Gardens wouldn't let her make a katana. The practice sword doesn't detract from the firm set of her jaw, though, and she looks absolutely ready to beat someone unconscious with it, though her voice is low and controlled.]

[On a more pleasant day, Souji's just relaxing somewhere scenic. Reclining under a tree, she's eating something she managed to put together from the local fruits and animals (and possibly a few mushrooms she identified by experimentation. She clearly has plenty of food, which must be why she motions you over to come have some.]

[Souji is sitting very still and very quietly with a fishing pole along a stream in the Orchards. Suddenly, the pole bends at almost 90 degrees as she hooks a fish and digs in her heels, heaving to bring something very heavy and strong out of the water. She looks like she might need help...or be available for a shove in the water, if you're a jerk.]
