Who doesn't love when everything is going their way?
Not only do I love it, but I FEAR it. Some people are afraid because they think it's some cycle that when things are going well something just has to mess up. I WISH I felt that way, because then it's all just happenstance. But for me, I believe that the spiritual world is always in battle...and when things are good is when the devil ups his game...
Two main times Satan tries to grab hold:
1-when you're down
2-when you're doing really well
Since lately my life has been blessed with an insane amount of things, including but not limited to:
a. Getting our wedding date figured out on the day we want
b. Sal receiving several job interviews
c. Sal being hired as a temp, full-time until we get married and he goes to med school (provided he gets in)
d. Sal had a great interview and experience at MSU-CHM
e. same day as (d), Sal gets an email for his WSU-SOM interview to be scheduled in Feb
f. Making progress in lab/at work
g. getting all A's last semester
h. Amber offering to take pictures at our wedding for free
i. Meeting First Pres (of Trenton) peers that are inspiring and awesome
j. Having conversations about God with those around me
etc etc etc
...I'm waiting for an attack. Pray for protection for me and those around me! I'm ready to hold my ground, and this will be of no surprise...
Since I am aware of what may come (not exactly what, but that something bad) I feel like it could be even worse than I expect. But I'm keeping my game face on and sending all glory to God.
