I finally found someone to play with me!
Ok, that makes it sounds like I'm completely wrong in the head. What I meant was, I finally found someone to volunteer with me for my church's VBS this summer. Once upon a time, this lady called me up and she was all, "Hey, do you wanna volunteer some of your time and act for some little kids because we need a clown and a tightrope walker for this skit...blah blah blah." Then I was like, "Yes." Then she goes, "Great! I'm so glad. Now you get to pick the other person and get back to us because we don't have any other names besides yours and we figure you know folks...yadda yadda yadda." And I went, "Yes."
So what this entails, really, is my buddy Jimmy and me playing a clown and a tightrope walker for a bunch of little kids later this summer. The best part is that it's REALLY CORNY...and I'm talkin the wow-golly-gee-God-is-super! type of thing. CRAZY. It'll be fun, though, because it's for little chilluns and that's a good time waiting to happen.
Now let me just say before I go that people need to understand that D'Amico & Sons IS NOT FAST FOOD. Seriously, I had about five people come up to me today while their food was being prepared, asking me where their food was. Mind you, this is AFTER I've told them that it'll be 10-15 minutes. And lo and behold, five minutes later, some whiny bitch is all, "WHERE'S MY FOOD?!"
CHILLAX, people! Your food is being made, there are fifty million people waiting to be served, get offa your time-crunching crack throne and WAIT. Honestly, when I ring up your to-go order and you got LASAGNA, don't friggin come up to me five minutes later while I'm ringing some huge family up and demand that I CHECK ON IT. Fuck, man. Just be glad you don't have to fucking cook it yourself. Some people's kids. I'm just sayin.
With that off my chest, I can now relax and get more stuff offa my chest...like my bra. Because a long, hot day with loads of stupid people treating you like a machine makes you wanna whip off my bra and let the girls breathe a little.
I think I'll watch a movie.
