update...
wow, long update ahead.
ok, since i last updated...last wed. was the hot hot heat show, it was fucking awesome shit, very fucking cool. the lead singer was a fucking tall, skinny ball of energy, bouncing around the stage, he was soo cool, he had a little bit of mick jagger in his moves, actually a lot, it was cool. good show. thursday was a shitty stats. midterm, not sure how i did. that night was cool. a buch of us pledges went to a brother's apartment and smoked him up for an interview, hahahah, we also smoked his hookah, which was awesome. i forgot how much fun hookah is, eric, if you read this, hookah--winter break! so that was cool, then we watched the game, the sox lost that night i think. then i went home to study for my science midterm the next day. took that friday, went ok, i got the results this week, got a B- about avearage.
we had another mixer last friday, but it was kinda shitty and poorly planned, cuz it was last minute and a lot of people went home/away for the holiday weekend. the theme was "anything but a cup", which means bring somethign to drink out of that isn't a cup, some guys had good ideas, one guy brought a gas tank, another a plunger, pitchers of course, and other shit. mine kicked ass though, i bought a camelbak, its a backpack that bicylers wear and it holds like 2 liters and has a tube that runs to your mouth, so you can cycle and drink without having to move at all. so that was awesome, i filled that shit up with beer, it was great, i think i got about 10 beers in there, and i did indeed kill them all. hell yeah. we mixed with delta gamma, cali's sorority, but it sucked, hardly any of them came, and she came really late, there was another sorority, i don't remember them, and we also invited the guys of lambda chi, cuz we get along with them, i guess. they were cool. but this was the least fun mixer so far. i didn't even get to play beer pong. i ended up staying really late, and helped the brothers trash the basement, they started throwing empty cans against the walls, and then they forced me to join in, and it was fun, and then after they were like, dude, that sucks, you have to help them clean that up in the morning, which was true. ended up crashing on the futon, next to a brother, hhahaha, it was cute, lol. one of my brothers fucking puked on the couch, and that forces us to have to clean at 7am this weekend. we cleaned that morning, it took forever. came back and spent the rest of the day with adam and katie, his gf, she had come up for the weekend. i was so nice to give them an empty room friday night, but nithin was there too, hey i did my part. we had a nice lunch, everyone. then watched the sox game. then we went to the BU hockey game, this is like our football, since we have no football, it was soo much fun, i had never been to one. good times indeed, can't wait to go again. they played rennslear polytechnic institute, which is oddly the alma mater of my uncle. they killed them 5-2. good game. then we all sorta chilled. and then i decided to go see kill bill with my pledge father and some other brothers. it was such a crazy fucking movie, soooooooo much violence, i couldn't even believe it. but it was good, very smart, and witty, and funny. good times.
sunday was a shitty rainy day. the guys and i went to see underworld, it sucked. had so much potential, but i thought it sucked ass. later on we smoked and watched this movie, kids, its so fucked up and sad. but good shit indeed. then we tried to watch scar face, but we were falling asleep. so we're getting ready for bed, and adam is already in bed, and goes, are you guys hungry? so we end up going to chinatown at 3:30am sunday night, and there was almost nothing open, adam sees this girl from his group, and she tells us to go to this korean restaurant, and it turned out to be a gold mine, good shit, it was funny i started wigging out, i thought we were gonna get shot and were in the middle of this complex sting operation. it was so funny and made perfect sense. then we went back and crashed.
monday we woke up and decided to go to johnny rockets, yes they have them here, it was a drive, but worth it. first i ran errands, got spray paint for the rock. lunch was good. came back, got ready for my date. yes i said date. i went out with the sorority girl that i hooked up with the previous weekend, jackie or jlo. so i met her at her dorm at 7, we walked and talked, i took her to this nice thai restaurant. at first the convo. was a little one-sided on my part, but then she got more comfortable once we were seated, and we started talking and the convo. was good. the bill was so cheap, it was great, ahahahhaha. we were on a time restraint, cuz she had a pledge meeting at 9:30. so at about 9 we left and i walked her to her meeting, the goodbye was shitty, cuz it was in front of her sisters. no kiss, and i was like, uh, i had a good time we should do it again sometime i'll call you, all at once, it was weird. and she was like, yeah, of course, deff. it was weird. but i think she had a good time, and enjoyed the date, i did. and i would like to take her out again.
yesterday i studied for econ. and went to my pledge meeting, the meeting was so bad, we got yelled at badly and totally reamed. it sucked. we gotta get our shit together. ok, i'm tired of typing, thats that. took the test today, did ok i hope. we'll see. fraternity activities every night this week. gonna keep me busy. good times as always. peace. go sox.
