This would have been my mother's 91st Birthday. Born a year after WWI ended, for a bit of perspective. She had a photographic memory. Which I didn't inherit. By a long shot. In fact I'm hard-pressed to think of anything I inherited from her other than a resemblance. Maybe my love of English, and The English?

But the photographic memory, and the need to keep things tidy would have been better.
