Always coming back, I could not forget you, girl; Now I am up in arms again

I feel like my insides and opinions are being twisted around lately. Like I'm reverting back to some pathetic schlub instead of this cigarette stub. It's not the funnest thing, but worse things have happened. I'd like to say watching Mulder and Scully in about a dozen episodes and the movie tonight are something of the catalyst for this turn of events, but I wouldn't have any problems really were it not for this former-mere-crush-turned-to-passively-longing that I got going on. It's all moot and futile and all that jazz, but it doesn't mean I won't keep it. Kept it this long anyway, and while nothing good has come of it, nothing bad has come of it either. Lock it up, son, it's what heroes do.

I own Season 6 of the X-Files now, by the by. Chris and I watched an episode with a baseball playing alien in it, which featured a nice and fun ending to it, whilst also reigniting my desire to play some more disorganized baseball. We followed it up with the movie, and when Brittney hung out with us we watched an episode about a ghostly couple trying to get Mulder and Scully to murder each other under the assumption the other was attempting to form a "lover's pact." The ghosts were ultimately foiled, but everyone had a happy ending anyway (if you can't tell, Mulder and Scully are opening presents they promised they wouldn't get for each other). Even the ghosts.

I need to find myself a pretty redhead a head shorter than 6 feet who'll go exploring haunted houses and hit up batting ranges with me reluctantly but inevitably. Oh Mulder, how I envy you.

I love the X-Files, so much.

July 25th!

redhead, baseball, x-files
