10-6 or 9-5 trying, dying to survive; Never knowing what survival means

I never realized I had so many clothes. I'm doing a huge load of laundry right now. There are some shirts that I never realized I had that I think might look rather good on me. The problem was my mum would be all about getting clothes for me, but she'd always get me mediums or larges, just because I was tall when in actuality I'm a small because of my frame. I do however need to go clothes shopping soon. Anyone know of any Thin & Tall stores? Joking... joking... ah, bad play on...

I had a slight cold, I think. Cough, slightly runny nose, painful ears, and over the course of one night I felt a little bit like vomiting. I did not, however, and the worst of it was over by the second day. I just hope Anna didn't catch any of it when I worked with her the other night. Probably not. I'm pretty sure I didn't get it from Keith, even though I basically started getting sick that night, because he vomited quite a bit leading me to suspect we caught different bugs. Now it's just a slightly sore throat and a little cough, but it's definitely no biggie.

I think this drummer wants to join my band. Chris and I jammed out with this kid Seamus for a good couple hours, and it was lots of fun. The kid is definitely talented, and knows a lot about music, probably more than Chris and myself. He also, like the other drummers I've worked with before who've all been pretty great, brings something different to the table. Something that I really like. I gotta get him that demo CD of our music.

Chris and I are also going to try to come up with a new band name. I've decided to be done with Lochlann Quirke's name, since it really represented the group Bryan and I tried to start, that Bryan shortly thereafter quit, and it doesn't exactly roll off the tip of your tongue. Actually, that last reason was more superficial than anything else, the real reason is that I'm done with the LQ name, and need something that better represents the music that Chris and I come up with, or at least something wicked fuckin' cool that people'll remember. I dunno. Bottom line: we're in the market for a new name.

I friggin' love this song for some reason.

music, chris
