busy busy busy
Yeah busy, doing what? don't know to busy to remember. I guess I will just ramble and see what becomes of it. finally picked my my tomatoes. One and only one picking all green no ripe ones. Ripening fast now sitting on the kitchen counter. If I plant tomatoes next spring someone please smack me. We don't get enough sun or heat to grow tomatoes even ones developed for this climate unless they are in a hot house. We have only had light frost and most of the rest of the garden is doing fine. I will probably have another picking of most of my herbs. Out my living room windows I can see the Olympic Peninsula and lots of snow on the mountains. My eyes are pretty much healed. I still don't have a new prescription for glasses and Im still using less than perfect over the counter reading glasses. Hopefully I will have new glasses next month. Im still knitting and crocheting etc...
Dog knows lots of stuff now. I made him wings so he could be in the "Halloween Mutt Strut" as a Chupacabra. Yeah way to cute to be one but it got a laugh when I answered the "so what is he dressed up as?" question. When asked to have him do his best trick I had him sit up instead of Pee on command. Yes he will do that among lots of other stuff. When I'm standing in the dark late at night and its raining waiting for him to do his business its nice to command him to "Pee" and he will. Dog takes me on 2.3 mile walks almost daily, weather permitting. He wears a pair of 8 oz. fishing weights in his saddle bag styled back pack. He has the weights to slow him down and wear him out faster but it hasn't worked. He has put on muscle instead. he looks more like a Min. Pin. now and less like a Chihuahua.
Fleets old dog seems to be immortal she is once again bouncy and doing just fine. Fleets going to school at our local JC 2 days a week and until recently was still working for K9 Carts but now has been reduced to 2 half days.
We have had to spend another Couple of hundred on his car. Its still cheaper than getting a different and not necessarily better car.
Rick is doing well. He's been working on getting the hot tub rebuilt and building me a new laundry shoot. We will soon be replacing 4 windows in the house that are just to old and weather damaged. The engineers union has accepted the new contract so a strike is unlikely.
