Hello, 2008.
It's saddening to see you go. You have brought on the best times and memories. There are a few regrets that I've made this year. But, even these poorly-judged mistakes has their positive sides.
Starting with January, I purchased a digital camera to capture the most exciting upccoming events.
February, I turned 20, which wasn't a big deal at all. But there was dancing. March, applied for the work-study position, that potentially changed my life with the person who has made me the happiest. April, the weather got warmer and dresses and skirts were ready to be worn. Joined the gym that I don't really often go to. May was an opening season for the batting cages, that I spent most of my summer in. June, was the month that marks the purchase of my first car. Ciaran, the Honda Civic. July, The Dark Knight is out in theaters. Such a wonderful fucking movie. I just remember working as much as I could to keep up with the expensive monthly payments. It also marks the month of the first time to have ever gone hiking. And, marks the month of the purchase of a bowl-pipe. August was the month of wonderful rituals. That one special person brought me to my first driving range. In September, I finally visited the beach for the first time this whole year. And, it was remarkable with that one person in a hurricane. In this month, I got my first ear-piercing. And, I was sure that I would be coming back for more. And Hempfest was another event that I couldn't wait for. October held the perfect stars. November had two beautiful trips; beautiful in its individual way. Either of which has made me incredibly happy. And because of these trips, they made me realize how much Iife is truly great. And, it's wonderful to share it with someone you care about. Sadly, we have reached December. There will just be a couple of weeks left, and I'll will celebrate you with many pictures.
All of my sentiments have gone to you.
May the best memories never be forgotten.
