Summary of Johnny’s Christmas Message 2010
NYC
All: We are NYC!!
Yamada: Everyone! Merry Christmas☆
Chinen: Merry Christmas!!
Yamada: It’s already Christmas time!
Nakayama: Already!
Chinen: It’s already Christmas
Yamada: Last Christmas we were invited to perform on a music show. We wanted to meet everyone on Christmas so we got to go on the show as NYC.
What’s going to happen this Christmas?
Chinen: This Christmas
Yamada: Look, I’ll freeze if I go like this
Nakayama: Yeah, especially since your sleeves are rolled up
Chinen: But we’re sort of wearing Christmas colours
Nakayama: Are we?
Chinen: Green, red, and yellow
Yamada: I don’t think yellow is one
Chinen: What
Yamada: Chinen-kun, I don’t think yellow is one
Chinen: No way? Wasn’t yellow one?
By the way, we haven’t introduced ourselves yet
Yamada: Should we get into it then
Chinen: There are still probably people who don’t know who we are
Nakayama: Ok! I’m Yuma Nakayama, the “N” (of NYC). I’m 16 years-old and I come from Osaka. I love omelette rice. Thank you.
Yamada: I’m the “Y” of NYC, my name is Ryosuke Yamada. I’m 17 years-old, thank you.
Chinen: Hello. I’m the cute “C” Chinen. Thank you!
Nakayama and Yamada: He’s good
Chinen: I’ve got to wrap it up like that!
Yamada: You’re good! You were able to keep it short!
I hope you all remember that we’re in a group called NYC!
In 2010 we were able to release “勇気100% (Yuuki 100%)” and “よく遊びよく学べ (Yoku Asobi Yoku Manabe)”
Nakayama: Thank you very much
Yamada: It really was amazing, and it was all thanks to you.
So, what is everyone up to this Christmas?
What was that?
Nakayama: They said they’ll be sitting in their kotatsu eating mandarins
Yamada: Is that what you do in Osaka!?
Is that what you do in Osaka! Give me more!!
Nakayama: Is it only me that thought that was funny
Chinen: Since we’ve been in JUMP, every Christmas I have this image of spending it with Keito
Yamada: Because it’s love
Chinen: When you go out to eat, we’re always asking each other why you’re always together
Yamada: That’s right, because the two of us are also in a group called Hey! Say! JUMP and there’s a guy in it called Keito Okamoto.
Well then, should we spend it together as NYC this year
Chinen: At somewhere like Nagoya or Shizuoka
Nakayama: So midway (between Osaka and Tokyo)
Chinen: Lets meet somewhere around there
Nakayama: Our singles “勇気100% (Yuuki 100%)” and “よく遊びよく学べ (Yoku Asobi Yoku Manabe)” both have really easy dance routines so I hope everyone can learn them
Yamada: You’d be able to learn the chorus in 30 seconds I think, really
Nakayama: Yeah! I mean, what?? That quickly??
Yamada: Yes
Chinen: But you still get it wrong
Yamada: Don’t say that here!! Yuma gets it wrong sometimes too.
But those songs are really fun songs so I think it’d be good to play them when you want to have fun with your friends.
