NEWS fans restaurant recommendation XD
Maybe some NEWS fans might want to know where Yamapi, Shige, and Massu ate so they could go there when visiting Tokyo XD
Most NEWS fans (or Yamapi, Shige, Massu fans) would have noticed, the three of them had some of their LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! concert pamphlet photoshoot at an italian restaurant, out in a terrace, surrounded by trees. Here's a partial shot of one of the photos from Yamapi, Shige, and Massu's photoshoot.
The restaurant is La Scogliera, an Italian seafood restaurant in Akasaka, Tokyo.
The restaurant owners even blogged about the shoot! They talked about some behind-the-scenes stuff so good thing, momoedgewood translated it for us XD

Post: “Hello NEWS fans who have clicked on this website and are thinking, ‘is it here?’
It is here! Ding dong, ding dooooong! You are correct.
One afternoon in August, a photoshoot took place on the terrace of La Scogliera.
The photos were taken to show the members of Johnny’s group NEWS having a private meal at our restaurant, and were used for their September concert tour pamphlet.
But because it was a Johnny’s shoot, we had been told that they couldn’t credit photoshoot places in the pamphlet so we were expecting nothing to happen if people didn’t know which restaurant the photos were taken at.
But, buuuuut.
NEWS fans were smart. They found us without any trouble and have been asking us, ‘we’d like the same dishes as them, please!’.
When we asked them how they found us, they said that by studying the photos from the pamphlet, and other behind-the-scenes photos (on sale at the Johnny’s shop), they were able to find three keywords: ‘Italian’, ‘flag of Sicily’, and ‘a place that overlooks steep streets’.
The fact that they could find our restaurant with just those clues is amazing!!!
Ar, are you super detectives…
It’s amazing, it’s like something out of a Detective Conan manga, wow!
Yamashita-kun and Masuda-kun and Kato-kun were really down-to-earth boys who smiled, ate a lot, raised their hands as they shouted, ‘this is so delicious!!!’, and also said, ‘this is amazing!’ Yes, they’re in our good books now…
* Of course, many other celebrities have come to our restaurant in the past (like him or her, it’s a secret) but we keep out mouth’s shut about who they were.
But this time it was a shoot (work), and for all of these fans who have really gone beyond anything detective Conan is capable of, we decided to write about our experience just this once.
If you’re thinking, ‘where is that restaurant!?’ then please come by some day.
Especially on a sunny Saturday or on a public holiday.
Then if you could say, ‘what is this, it’s so delicious!’ like Yamapi and NEWS, it would make us very happy.”
