Summary: Sequel to the songfic entitled
Vector. Kame left the hospital after learning that Jin impregnated a random girl he met in a club. He headed straight to Yokohama where he met Nao. Nao claimed he looked like the person she loved, the person who recently died in an accident. Having recently lost both their loved ones in such an abrupt and unexpected instant, both found comfort in each other to mend their broken hearts. Fifteen years down the road, Kame finds himself raising a beautiful daughter... with Jin forcing his way to get back in his life.
Chapter Four
Jin bowed politely at Kame’s daughter. “Akanishi Jin at your service.” He gave his ex a fleeting look before transferring his gaze at the teenager. “You must be Kanzaki Seiya.”
Seiya nodded, a frown showed on her beautiful face as she tried to make out where she had seen the man before. “I’m sorry but have we met before?”
Jin smiled as he shook his head. “Sadly, no. This is the first time we’re meeting. See, your parents left the country before you were born.” He gave Kame a meaningful look.
Kame returned it with a piercing glare before clearing his throat. “Seiya, sweetheart, why don’t you go back to your room and prepare for the day? Yuusuke and I will need your help around the shop. Go on, I will just show Akanishi-san the way out.”
Seiya nodded obediently. “Nice meeting you, Akanishi-san.” She lightly bowed her head politely before heading back to the second floor.
When Kame heard the door to his daughter’s room closed shut, Kame whispered softly but dangerously. “Leave. I have to prepare for the day. You’ll get your answer at 10am.”
Jin reached his arms out, his right index finger and thumb flicking Kame’s head to his direction. “No, I want my answer now.”
“Jin, please. Have some decency to respect my--”
The older snapped. “Decency? Did you think of that when you left me? No, I don’t think you did.”
“Oh, so you think you had that when you cheated on me and got a girl pregnant?” Kame shot back.” “Do not put the blame on me. What happened to us is in the past. If it were just me, I would have run away again the moment you caught trace of me but since I already have a family, I have to put up with your blackmailing just to make sure that they wouldn’t be tangled in a mess that I caused.”
Jin observed the slightly out of breath Kame. “Blackmailing? But you know that’s not my cup of tea.”
“Then what do you think you’re doing now?!” Kame asked, exasperated.
“I’m just taking back what’s rightfully mine.” Jin arrogantly said before turning to leave. “And you know I’ll get it. One way or the other.” He gave Kame a teasing smile before turning to leave. “Fine. I’ll be back at 10. See you later, lover boy.”
Kame cautiously watched as Jin left. A relieved sigh escaped him when the older hailed a cab from the street.
From what he, Yuusuke and Seiya discussed last night, it was sure that they would be coming back to Japan with him but it’s not all that simple. He was still opposed to the whole idea but he had a horrible feeling that Jin will seriously file a case against him if he didn’t comply with his ex’s wishes. Remembering a dear friend, he grabbed his phone and dialed a familiar number.
“Hiroto-kun?” Surprise was evident on Tachibana Keiichiro’s voice when he answered the phone.
“Hey.” Kame weakly greeted back. “I have a favor to make.” He heard shuffling noises from Keiichiro’s end before the man answered. “Will you hear me out?”
“Is this about Yuusuke and Chikage?”
Kame gave a light laugh. “No, it isn’t.”
“Okay, good. Because I don’t have time to personally escort him there.”
“No, not that.” Kame paused when he felt his voice hitching. “Um, look, we’re closing down the shop. It’s immediate that we go back to Japan in a week’s time. Can your people help me out? I don’t know... maybe find a new owner for the shop or something?”
“I can make arrangements.” Keiichiro answered positively. “Thank goodness that some of my staff are there in a conference trip. I’ll order them to come over tonight or after they are finished with business.”
“Great, thanks a bunch, Kei-chan!”
“Don’t call me that.” Kame could just see the older man pursing his lips disapprovingly at the nickname.
“Oops. It slipped out. Sorry.”
“May I ask why the sudden decision to move back? It’s the middle of the school year for Seiya, isn’t it?”
“Just some urgent family matter back there. It’s imperative that I get home as soon as possible. I’ll tell you the details as soon as we meet up.”
“Hn.” Was all Keiichiro could say to that. “Is that it? I need to go. I have a lot of things to prepare before my dinner meeting.”
“Yeah, that’s about it. Thanks again. We’ll see you soon.”
“Okay. Send my love to Seiya. Bye!”
And the two cut the connection.
Kame heaved a sigh before starting with the morning preparations.
-----
“What? You found him where?” Yamapi shouted over the phone.
“Here, in Canada.” Jin laughed as he leaned against the balcony’s railings. “Still as beautiful as he was fifteen years ago, Pi.”
“And?”
“And I’m taking him back.”
“No, that’s already a given.” Yamapi sighed solemnly. “I mean, how is he?”
“He’s fine I guess?”
“You guess?”
“What do you expect? I mean, he’s not sick or anything. He still got all his limbs intact if that’s what you’re worrying about.”
“Idiot.” Yamapi refused to be irritated at his best friend. He hated it whenever he had to spell things out for the older man. “What I meant is how did he take it when he saw you?”
“Oh, so that’s what you wanted to ask? You know you can be tactless with me and just head straight to the point.”
“That’s because I’m taking your feelings into consideration.”
Jin just laughed at Yamapi’s absurdity. “We’ve been friends more than half of our lives Pi, why do you need to consider my feelings about stuff? Especially if you want to know the truth?”
“You know what, fine.” Yamapi almost growled. “I can take a hint. Maybe you just don’t want to talk how badly he reacted when he saw you.” He muttered.
“He’s got a beautiful daughter, Pi.” Jin lightly commented. “Almost the same age as Mamoru.”
“He has a family now?! Did you meet his wife? Man, I didn’t know he swings that way.”
“No. She died giving birth to Seiya.”
“Is he raising her alone?”
“Nope. He... has an intimate friend helping him out.”
“Intimate friend.”
“On/off boyfriend, you can say.”
“And you’re jealous.”
“Of course. Kame’s mine. No one’s allowed to touch him except me.”
“Jin, as a friend, can I tell you what I honestly think?”
“I told you, you don’t need to be tact around me.”
“Really? Then hear this: YOU’RE CRAZY!”
Jin laughed hollowly. “Yes, I know. I have been out of my mind ever since Kame left me. You know that. I know that -- it’s nothing new.”
“No!” Yamapi yelled. “This is beyond your normal craziness -- you are about to destroy Kame’s life. AGAIN!”
“Why can’t anyone see that his place is next to me? I thought you, of all people, would understand.”
“I’m nearing my limit. I don’t think I understand you anymore.”
“Don’t give up on me Pi.”
“You know I won’t -- you’re my best friend. But keep this in mind. Don’t you ever hurt Kame again; I’ll personally see to it that you will not see a glimpse of him ever again if you do.”
“Of course I won’t. You’ll see -- we’ll be a happy family. Him, me, Mamoru and Seiya.” Jin sighed dreamily.

-----
A/N: I didn’t exactly like how the chapter turned out but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. I don't know.... Jin seemed to have lost all his screws in his head and went crazy on me! Honestly, he scares me now coz I loved how aggressive he was in the previous chapters~ ♥ Hopefully he won’t be as crazy in the future chapters as he was in this one. -_-”
I’m off to do work! New ones came in last night and I have to do two days of load (today and tomorrow’s load) so that I can do my time scripts tomorrow (and maybe some of it on Monday) in peace.
Comments are loved!!! ♥
