Writing & Top Gear
Was intending to get a lot of writing done this past weekend. Well at least that was the plan, that lasted until Friday afternoon when I promptly went down with some vile bug and spent the whole weekend in bed. Managed to miss my gaming session as well.
Needless to say I started to recover in time for work.:-) But that did mean I got to watch last nights Top Gear on Leyland Cars. What can I say than it almost made up for a totally crappy weekend. The tests were inspired and I lost the ability to breathe during some of them notably the handbrake test and the water in the car one. Those cars made me proud and ashamed to be British at the same time.
It also meant I still haven't read the latest issue of S8. So two weeks unread now. So instead later this week will try and find time to read through Stepford Faith again to ensure a final polish and then post the master-list for the My Fair Faith Ficathon on Friday. Writing wasn't flowing anyway, in that annoying position of knowing exactly what I need to write but not able to put it down on the page.
