My plans
Ok, everything is set up as much as can be. So...here's the plan:
I'm going to start trying for a baby in March of 2012!
This year I'm going to save up and get the house ready.
I joined choicemoms.org and singlemothersbychoice.com both very neat groups and I've met some great women through both of them.
I'm planning to use an anonymous donor. Its expensive, but that's just the way it goes.
In August I'm going back to my OBGYN for my yearly appointment and making plans. She's already onboard and willing to order the "sample" for me. Yay!
I've picked a bank. They're local-ish, so I can go pick up my "sample" and not have to pay for shipping. I'm planning to have a donor picking party with all my girlfriends and get their opinions on the donors. Should be really fun...what kind of food do you serve for that sort of party? Lol
So I'm count down the weeks until I come off the pill and start charting my cycles. I know SO MUCH more about ovulation than I ever thought I would need to. I've read tons of books and told several people. My mom is thrilled. My dad had a minor freak out, but he's coming around. My brother is behind me. And all my friends are excited!
I'm going to start on prenatal vitamins in December. I'm going to come off the pill in February. Then I'm going to have an awesome bachelorette style bday party for my 30th birthday. Then, assuming everything goes according to plan, March will be my first try!
I'm happy, I'm excited, I'm impatient. :-) I really feel like this is where I'm supposed to be. Its a good feeling.
