The Holidays
I baked gifts for Christmas as always. I made Chicken Parmesan for some people and Lasagna for others. I also made quite a few cheesecakes. Everyone seemed to like it.
A couple days before Christmas I got to see Jennifer. That was cool. We work opposite schedules, so we don't see each other much. Then I got to see Trenton and Luke. Yay! I hadn't seen them in forever!
Christmas Eve we went to my parents. Food was good. Presents were good. Mom was sober. All and all...not bad.
Didn't get but a couple of hours of sleep that night and up early Christmas morning to go to my grandparents. It's not that far, but its a long ride with all my family in the car. *Sigh* But seeing everyone was good.
Day after Christmas was my brother's birthday. So we were celebrating again.
New year's eve I made some little cocktail type foods and Christopher made strawberry margaritas.
It's really strange that its 2010. I feel so old. Ten years since high school. Wow.
Today dinner at the parents for new years day. Lots of peas and greens so I'll get some $$ this year. (it can't hurt right?) Then its over. I've got to pack up all my Christmas stuff. I'm glad the holidays are over. They don't have the same wonderful glow they used to have.
Just ready for everything to get back to normal and get to work on my basement. I want that shit done!!! I'll post decoration picks later. I don't have my photos on my new PC yet.
