little life update
so it turns out i am yet again on my way up to humboldt county. however this time very unexpectedly. My great-grandma passed away last friday, and I really wanted to be there for her funeral and my family this tuesday, so I'm going up tonight and going back to SF on tuesday... as if the 101 and I weren't already best friends... I'm going to be spending a lot of time on it... story of my life though. lol.
in brighter news I got to spend the day with Seth yesterday. I bought us tickets to the Petaluma Jazz Festival a while ago and we really made a day out of it. There were lots of awesome bands and we danced our feet off basically. It was so so much fun. Afterwards I took Seth out to his favorite: Olive Garden, and we really enjoyed ourselves. I can always count on him to make my day really really good.
also Seth and I, after lots and lots of thought, have decided to get tattoos on our 5 year anniversary! coming up on Oct. 3rd. We are both really excited and after lots of (some very awful) ideas (lol) we have made an amazing decision on what we're getting. I'm super excited and now all we have to do is find an artist! so stoked.
finally just an update: as an august resoulution and what could turn into something permanent I've decided to go vegan.
I'm having a lot of fun with it and so far I'm not missing the milk and eggs (cheese however remains unbearable; i miss it so.) But I'm trying to eat differently and healthier and this way I'm getting a lot more vitamins from salads, beans, rice and fruits. So let's see how long this lasts... (I'm only promising until the end of August)
that's it! I am trying incredibly hard to get some really awesome photos up of all the current tessa events... but it's just not working out yet. i promise later.
oh and one more thing: Seth and I have started reading the Shack together. I am so amazingly intrigued, if anyone else is reading it/has read it, we should discuss.
p.p.p.s i miss kaydee so much! if anyone else is... we should discuss this too.
