...and they call it Bella Notte...

I was so so so excited! But every step I took closer to that shop I got more and more nervous. Mostly because I didn't want it to hurt and I didn't want to die. But I basically got over that really quickly. And as soon as we got into the shop I felt loads better and I even volunteered to go first.

Gordon, the artist, showed me the art he drew up and it was gorgeous and I loved it. The design on my ankle I basically gave him free reign and I was really impressed with how well he listened to the kinds of things I wanted and it looks so good! It took a while for everything to get placed and all, because I was super picky and he was picky, but finally everything looked straight and we were ready to go. He set up all the stuff and got me situated on the table and I was totally fine until I heard him turn on the ‘gun.’ Is that even what you call it? I think it is. Anyways it was as scary as one and I immediately sat up. I wasn’t going to let him touch me with it unless I could see lol. No surprises. So he told me exactly when he was going to start and surprisingly it didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would at all! Granted I thought I was going to die or something, but what was neat was that it only hurt while he was doing it! As soon as he pulled away to get more ink or when he was done with a line it stopped hurting! It almost felt like electricity shooting in me, but as soon as he was done it didn’t hurt anymore and both Seth and I left the shop pain free. It was so cool. The only part of my foot that really really hurt was my Achilles tendon and the part between my ankle and the tendon. It hurt so so bad! And Seth can testify because he was the one holding my hand and he had to switch hands. Haha.

Anyways on to the pictures:

Seth went next and his went so much quicker cause it was just the scripture, and he liked it, only one character hurt him really bad.

AND THE NEXT MORNING:

Next we went downtown and just hung out, went into shops and just wondered around. Our first restaurant stop (where we had reservations) pretty much failed because they were too shmancy and only served really weird Italian food… so we ditched and wondered around until we found Caesar’s Italian Restaurant which was exactly the Italian food we were looking for. That night we made our way home and we were totally exhausted.

and this ^ is me on Lombard street! We came across it while searching for a good restaurant lol. So we walked down and it was fun.

The next day we went to the Pier 39 and Guitar Center! But after a while we got super tired again and went back home, and watched funny TV shows. I begged him to stay one more night and we went to church together this morning. Which was really really good. Then I sent him off back on the Golden Gate bus…

It was a great beautiful anniversary. It was perfect. I am so in love! I am so happy! I have an amazing best friend, and he loves me and takes care of me and he’s my everything.

I’m so happy. It’s so good to be in love!

seth, anniversary, love
