second annual chocolate festival

Today started off beautifully.

I had a beautiful dress, a beautiful coat, a matching watch, and amazing shoes.

I found some shades and ran down stairs to meet some friends because today we were going to the chocolate festival.

I actually had a lot of fun, considering I didn't eat any of the chocolate. Most of the chocolate/cupcakes/milkshakes/malts/cookies/brownies there contained either butter, milk or eggs... so the choices were slim. Nevertheless it was sunny and my legs got a nice tan.

Unfortunately I wish I had been in a better crowd. Not that everyone there wasn't nice, but they all seemed to be preoccupied with each other and more than half the time I felt very left out and sometimes basically invisible. I felt like the 'uncool' kid who didn't know what everyone else was talking about and kept getting left out of decisions and conversations. Which was weird, because I was pretty good friends with everyone there, I guess I just wasn't BEST friends with anyone there so... that's how that went. I cried once, but it didn't ruin my day. Did I tell you I looked amazing? Yeah so I had something holding my spirits up.

After everyone departed leaving me downtown, I went to the main library and got the 5th Harry Potter book, (USF didn't have it and neither did my local branch so I was pretty desperate). And I rode the bus home getting lost in one of my favorite books.

Later that night I went and visited one of my good friends David. Minus the fact that he was in a towel when I showed up (he had just gotten out of the shower) we had a great conversation and it convinced me that I still had friends who like to talk to me... lol. So that was good.

I then went and baked cookies for all the girls on my floor. I love baking, so that was very fun.

And here I am particularly cheerful because I just got done video chatting with Kaydee. Which was quite a elating end to my day.
