Christmas and Stuff

I am typing this entry on my favourite Christmas gift this year: A spiffy new Lenovo T400 laptop.

My parents were very kind to get me for Christmas, since I would have to get laptop anyways, to avoid have to drag my desktop to California with me. As well, the desktop is over four years old not doing to well. It become very noisy and I have therefore dubbed it 'the beast'.

This Christmas has been pretty relaxed and laid back, which is good. I spent Christmas and a few days beforehand with my family at my paternal grandmothers house. For lack of anything else to do, I most of the time in front of the tv, despite not much being on, and I think my brain got slightly mushier. When something really uninteresting was on I would pick up The Fountainhead to enjoy the rantings of crazy-woman Ayn Rand.

On boxing day, we went to visit the other side of the family and today finds me back at home.

Tomorrow, I must undertake the epic task of sorting though the huge pile of stuff I brought home when I moved out of the place I had been living in near school, and begin packing for California.
