that's what folks do down here on New Year's Eve. All night. I think it beats shooting off your shot-guns up the chimneys, though. The cats occasionally raise their heads and sigh.
I'm in my jammers, eating Cheezits and watching Law and Order marathons. I seriously love the fictional Detectives John Munch, Bobby Goren, and Eliot Stabler. Goren is my favorite, and I started an X-Files crossover once where I put him together with Scully. (That was in the days when I never even saw the hoyay) Here, all the restauranteurs are glum because our county is dry on Sundays. I personally can't drink v. much.
Anyway, I'm knitting, eatin' the cheese crackers and thinking about breaking out some more Diet Coke, as the, uh, fire-crackers would keep me up.
I did get busy and finish putting my 2006 fic in memories. I won't list them here, but I thought it was funny that, for someone who thinks of herself as Angel-centric, I sure put Xander Harris through the AU process: I had him meet a mermaid, brought vamp!Xander over from the wishverse, slashed him with Angel in a human teenage AU and with the Angel of AtS, had him dump Spike in a drabble, and paired him with Larry.
Then, I wrote my first f/f, Dawn/Chao Ahn and Buffy/Faith; paired Spike/Willow; wrote Buffy/Angel, Mal/Inara, Mal/River, Mal/Jayne, crossed House/Bones so as to put Angela in bed with Wilson and House, of course, in bed with Brennan---but first I wrote Angela/Booth.
Oh, yeah, I had some jury trials, and got a stuffed fox.
