I thoroughly enjoyed these snippets. You have an excellent grasp on River--both inside her head and through the lenses of others. And that's rare--finding the balance of whimsy and sense with her.

Lovely. I would be most pleased if there were more, but I'm not in the habit of pushing people--just appreciation. :)

Guh. Okay, femmenerd directed me to this, largely because of my fetish for Mal's eyelashes, and she wins.

I tried collecting lines to quote that I loved, but there were too many. That first part when River touches his eyelashes, though, and he tries not to smile...*wibbles*

This is a beautiful, beautiful look at this pairing, and I'm totally adding it to my reclist for shipmanifesto.

Have you by any chance written other River/Mal pieces? *looks hopeful*

You should have heard starlet2367 when she saw NF at DragonCon---she was wibbling. Thank you very much for your kind remarks, but this is it. I'll probably come back and write more when I have a plot.
