Do I GET up this early?? No. Especially when I go to bed at 3:30. Agh. I have wake-up duty this morning, which entails turning off the fucking security system, making the fucking coffee, bringing in the fucking newspapers, and waking everyfuckingbody up at their desired time. Two words - KILL ME. This is why our beds should be in our own rooms, where we can sleep in privacy and wake up to our own individual alarm clocks. The reason we have to sleep in "porches," I was informed, is that by Oregon law, any residence containing only girls (and x number of girls, not sure how many) is considered a brothel if their beds are in private rooms. Heh. I went to a comedian at the beginning of the year who said that it was sad that we couldn't drink in our sorority houses, because without booze we were "like brothels, without the dignity." I'm okay with being a technical brothel, to be honest, if it means a room where I can sleep and/or wake up ALONE. Thanks, that's all. Bitch session over.
