DW: Season 3 Speculation (spoilers)

Apr 09, 2007 06:31

Oh great...I'm got some spoilery speculation again... so, no humansrsuperior allowed...

So I was reading the interview for Mr. Saxon on VoteSaxon.org.uk and it got to these questions:

TCE: As we've discussed, your busy schedule must be quite taxing. In regards to your personal life, how are you coping?

MS: I ensure my professional and personal lives remain...polarised (laughs).

TCE: We know little about your family or personal life Mr. Saxon. Some claim you're covering something up.

MS (laughs) Now, why would they think that? That I'm, perhaps, not who I say I am? (laughs) Nonsense. I merely feel that the details of my life aren't important when compared with serious issues that involve the future of our country.

TCE: But, surely it would put people at ease. To know that you're...

MS: Human? (laughs)

TCE: Well, in a way - just so they can relate. If you spoke of your family...parents, a sister, a brother...

MS: "A brother"? (laughs) Well...there's nothing really to tell. Really - there is nothing to tell.

And after the Doctor's declaration of "I had a brother once" in Smith and Jones, I think it's plain to see that Mr. Saxon is the Doctor's brother!

In addition, another part of the interview stating that:

TCE: As the first anniversary of the Battle of Canary Wharf will soon be upon us, how do you think we should mark the ocassion?

MS: Well, clearly this is still an extremely sensitive subject. So many people lost their lives that day, so I think it is vital we don't overstep the mark when it comes to commemorating the event. Absolutely have a remembrance service, but hold back. Just recently I signed a book of condolence and was particularly moved by just the sheer horror of that day, which merely highlights the indiscriminate violence these extraterrestrials are capable of. There was a mother and a daughter on that list. Jacqueline and Rose Tyler. Such a... tragedy.

Great...he knows that Rose was the Doctor's too. Is he going to use that against him somehow? Is the Master the Doctor's brother? Well, figuratively, I guess you could say that all Time Lords are his family as they are the same species.

Just wait...if Boe says that "you are not alone", then I've gotta be right!
