Unconditional Love

Simlpy does not exist. I am sorry to tell you that but it does not. Never in my life have I heard:

-Do you love him/her?

-Yes

-Why?

-I don't know...

Believe it or not but we always know why exactly. Sometimes it is hard to admit, sometimes it is hard to articulate but it is always there. A condition. Love for nice warm dinner on the table at the end of the day and fresh laundry, for songs under the moon and stars in the palm, for terrific blow jobs and multiple orgasms, for sex being so good that even the neighbours smoked, for a smile, his hair a week before cutting and an account in the bank. And even if you never thought of it before, that simple why makes you wonder more and more.

Someone said that if you want an uncoditional love, get a dog. Totally unreasonable. Dogs need love too, in fact they condition it as weel as we do. They also love us for feeding them, for scratching their ears, for closing our eyes long enought to steal food from the table. You provide care -- your dog will be there for you; you don't - he either run away or becomes vicious.

And not only dogs. Every animal with self-respect depands love. Here I am talking about animals with actual ability to feel affection. I am not sure cows can feel anything but the taste of the grass ( no offence to the cows though).

We even love ourselves for the reasons. We can't accept us just for nothing, uncoditionally. If we don't have a condition, we invent it.
