While reading, I have a really bad habit in that I tend to jump lines while reading. For instance I will start on one line, then halfway through inadvertently start reading from the line below or above. Usually I catch when I do this because the sentance doesn't make any sense, but sometimes it makes perfect sense. For instance, "Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured... 1 large and 1 small portion, about two thirds and one third of the dough respectively." doesn't make much sense, and yes, this sample taken from a lovely book I got from
wishmaiden .
So anywho, imagine my great joy at reading such a headline on my homepage, "FBI begins criminal inquiry into CIA waterboarding." Of course, once I read this, I knew it couldn't be true (but I wanted it to be!), because, of course, today our wonderful leader (sarcasm of course) vetoed a bill outlawing waterboarding, and it was just me jumping lines again. The actual headlines were:
Bush vetoes bill outlawing CIA waterboarding - 10 hr FBI begins criminal inquiry into Countrywide: paper - 2 hr ago
Bummer...
