(no subject)
Hooray for our internet working again!! It's been so frustrating the past few days, working a bit then not at all and blinky lights on the DSL box and weird error messages etc...But now! Now it is workind and I'm happy.
In other news, Thursday was Senior Night, which was lovely and wonderful and a little sad. Friday was the last real day of classes, which was lovely and beautiful in different ways and only a little sad because it was the last Genetics and Government. Saturday (yesterday), I went to Katie R's graduation party, which was awesome, especially because her graduation cake had dinosaurs on it. After that I got a ride with the lovely Julianne to Mrs. Hicks' house and had another party with genetics people. We had pizza and played Clue really badly and sat around talking until 10.30. Today I cleaned house and dusted and vacuumed and all that crap. Tomorrow I have a Calc exam, and then I'M SO DONE WITH THE WHOLE HIGH SCHOOL THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOO!!!!!!!!! ^_^
I'm staying till 2 to get teachers to sign my yearbook, drop off notes, see people one last time, and a few other last-minute things (like that pot-luck thing they mentioned). Then I'm going to sign out saying "end of compulsory education," and go buy a new camera! (on sale!!!! $189!! regular $229.99!!!!)
Even though I'm excited about the end of school, it's still doesn't always sink in that it is The End of school. I can't believe I'm graduating Friday. Oy vey. The plan for that seems to be for ten bajillion relatives to come up and kick me out of my room and into a tent in the yard that we don't have yet. Also, Kabuto's steakhouse somewhere in there. Oh well. It's still crazy.
I'm supposed to print out directions to the Landmark, study Calc and write some cards tonight. I'll look in to that.
