OMG YAY.
First day of classes today! I had Creative Writing in the morning at 8 am ( *dies* D: ) and Research Writing at 2 pm. Yeah, long break. I was bored, cuz there was no one to hang out with. BUT in the library after RW I ran into people I met at Orientation. :D
Anyhoo, yep class was great. My Creative Writing teacher is really laid back n cool. We did a fun writing exercise- everyone wrote really funny stuff. I was the only transfer there, but they were nice and all clapped for me! In Research Writing later, there's a girl I met at Orientation who's in my class! It's nice seeing a familiar face. ^^ My teacher for this class is young and energetic, and she's really excited about the class. The theme is "Grotesque." I'm interested to learn more about it- it's not just about "gross" stuff in particular. Thankfully, this class is dominated by transfers. :D
My textbooks are too expensive... :/
I'm really really happy right now... I can't really express it. I'm just so glad I got into this school.
On an unrelated note, the Pats are going to the Superbowl. Yay. Not THAT big a deal to me in particular, but it is to my dad, it's funny. XD
