Rambles
Mother's Day was very nice. As I mentioned before, my family gave me a Paid account for Mother's Day and I'm still enjoying the irresponsibility of paying money for more icons. Our ward gave not only flowers this year, but I got a very pretty purple one. I meant to take a picture and upload it, but it will have to wait. I only managed to get it unwrapped today. I was feeling better about the whole live flower (I honestly prefer a carnation) thing because of the purple, but they also passed out cookies! ^_^
Nakayoshi continues to fight me on the potty thing. I think I may have pushed too hard, because today he had two accidents because he won't sit on the toilet when I ask, even when he's dancing. I'm trying really hard not to be overbearing but I worry that I'm going to mess up and we're all going to be hearing about it twenty years from now on Oprah. He did successfully handle our attempt with the B&N bathrooms after storytime, which was his first experience with an adult-sized toilet. I suspect that his willingness was due to a desire to stay and play with the train table rather than go home.
Penguin's teeth are bothering him. He's woken up in the middle of the night for the last two nights, but a dose of Tylenol seems to restore his peaceful rest.
I just picked up The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint from the library today. It's a nice size hardback with a fun cover which makes me excited to read it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to start it before or after I read Magician: Master (Raymond Feist). I've only got a few more pages of Magician: Apprentice. I like the book, the pacing's a little slow, but that might have something to do with the fact that I can only really read about an hour everyday.
I think I'm finished with the community I put together for our WoW guild, which is good because I have quite a bit to do if I want to get my Mother's Day presents done before we go down this weekend and Nakayoshi's party is on the 23rd of next month, which means I'll need to get that invite done in short order as well.
I think I have too many projects.
