I'm still here

I have this wonderful Firefox addon called No-Script which basically turns off all website scripts for all webpages until you give permission. The addon is great for me, since I have missed a lot of trauma-inducing advertisements when I wander onto pages desperate for advertising revenue. However, it also seems to have blocked Livejournal’s ability to auto-save my drafts. Since I don’t have the paid LJ anymore, I am trying to be selective about which scripts I allow.

To summarize, I stopped reading my friends page around the middle of 2009, and wanted to catch up on blogs without having to actually sit at my computer for hours reading. It took me a while, but I finally figured out that I could copy the blogs to Word and mail it to my husband’s Kindle, which is working out wonderfully. The Kindle is light, cooler than a laptop, and the eInk makes it much more comfortable to read. Hopefully Google’s RSS Reader will work for all the future posts after I get caught up.

I am really looking forward to catching up on magegirl, zellion, raisinfish, norroway and yedijoda’s posts. I’ve missed them soooo much. The problem I’m having as I read through posts is that everyone is doing these way cool, jealousy inducing things. (magegirl made THIN MINTS, for crying out loud!) So that, coupled with the the war to conquer SleepFail 2010 and 2011 I am currently waging with Sunshine, I have little to no time to myself. Still, I’m blessed to know you. Thanks to all of you for being so cool AND still being friends with me. :D

There’s so much to be done (chores), so much I want to do (projects) and just not enough time (life).

personal, family, sunshine, friends, motherhood
