No, I posted it here. I don't think I've put anything on my blog in over 5 months. Nobody ever reads it, or if they do, they don't comment.

Not really sure this belongs here then, since there's nothing in it about Elder Scrolls/Skyrim. The posts at least have to be on topic: "This community is for the discussion of The Elder Scrolls. Please keep posts on topic, though comments can ramble any direction they please."

Not a mod, but that's off the rules for the comm. I was thinking you posted this here by mistake same as nyxalinth above.

"No, I don't feel up to sitting in a chair playing video games, either." I did talk about gaming.

Fine. I quit. Goodby, hope you all LOVE the version of hell you're making for yourselves here.

You mentioned gaming --that was good enough for me. This group has been dead except for your activity.

One post that fails to go on at length about Skyrim, and suddenly there is a dog-pile of seemingly disgruntled members?
In that case, where is the moderator?

I don't blame you for leaving in a huff. I use LJ a lot less than I used to, because of the same, I'll call it, "level of courtesy", which I've experienced in other groups. Just be glad they didn't post your home phone number and threaten to come to your house over it. That's what they do if you get off topic in the photophile group.

Ironically, this group is pretty much my only involvement in LJ now, and your posts are often the reason I bother to log in.
Damn sorry to see you go , but thanks for saving me time?

Three people commented sympathizing with the OP's feelings and then politely asked him to limit his posts to stuff just dealing with Skyrim. I wouldn't call that a dogpile.

Ahhh well then this comm might as well be "people who like skyrim" rather than a comm about skyrim.

But then again I suspect it would be rather dead if that was the case. I'm not complaining or anything-- just pointing it out.

But honestly LJ is just painfully PC at times; it's hardly malicious save for a fuckton of Bitchfests. imo, lj is going down because of the shitty changes being made, irregardless of user complaints.

Mod here

The comments have been reasonable and for the most part polite. I can't call them out for breaking rules of the comm or anything like that.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that in other comms. If anyone does anything inappropriate such as you've experienced in other comms, I will be on them. I will be sure to have them reported as violating LJ TOS. That kind of behavior will not be tolerated here.

I agree, OP has been posting a lot, keeping this comm alive, more than I have, certainly, and I've been very mindful of that. I hope others take that into consideration in spite of today's differences.

Well, the thing is, this isn't a generic "gaming" comm, it's for Elder Scrolls/Skyrim. Saying you don't feel like playing video games is like posting about lost socks in a fashion community - sure, socks are clothes and fashion is all about clothes, but it's not what the comm is really for. Your other posts that were actually about Skyrim were fine, but this one just doesn't fit here.
