Today, tomorrow, and my future in one...
Okay so I posted my resume on monster and immediately the next day I got like 5 call backs. Every company I have applied at so far has called me back. I actually went to one interview and liked the company and the people that work there. So I went back for a second interview today and was told that I was hired! I went to this doctors office called concentra and had to stay in the wait area for two HOURS! I am not even exaggerating. They put in a movie for all of the people: "Vertical Limit" and I watched the whole thing from beginning to end. I was exhausted and when they called my name I walked in and he gave me a cup. I peed and he told me to "sign here" then I left. It took 3 minutes to do that but took 2 hours to just pee in a cup! I was furious but i kept thinking about my new job and it kept me calm.
Today at work I didn't sell anything at all! It was so very slow. Silver left at 4 and then came back up there after I called and let her know that I hadn't sold anything. She was not mad at all surprisingly. She was not truly upset till I told her that I found another job. The truth is that it is all an act, and if she cared about any of us as her employees we would have the money in our hand the day we are ready to go cash our checks. We wouldn't have to wait for a week after we get our checks to get the money...
That is the one thing I like about my new job: they offer direct deposit, they have lots of benefits, and they pay me back for my schooling! I get my own desk and computer and I can listen to music, dress however I want and eat whenever I want. I don't get lunch but I don't know why people would take a lunch break if they don't have to when they can just eat at their desks for free. LOL
I am excited and tired I am going to bed now...
