At the time I joined LJ, I was extremely obsessed with Phantom of the Opera. I wanted to include the movie somewhere in my username. So I just combined that with the instrument I played in the orchestra, which was the viola. And there it is.
2. What do you plan to do after you finish your studies?
I want to eventually become a professor of Literature. I'm really thinking about getting my Doctorate, but I will have to leave El Paso to do so. I know I'm going to be in school for a long while, but I hope it will be worth it.
3. What is your favorite character in House? Do you ship someone there?
For me, it's a toss-up between House and Wilson. I love House mainly because he's an asshole and his humor is very dry and sarcastic. Plus I think there's something attractive about a man who's "damaged." He's such a complicated character and I love trying to figure him out. This leads me to Wilson because I love how he constantly analyzes House's actions and behavior. His relationship with House is so crazy, but they work very well together as buddies. As for who I ship, I was really into House/Cameron for a while but now I'm into House/Cuddy. I'm amazed it took them this long to actually get it on with each other. LOL!
4. Have you even been abroad and what places would you like to visit?
Sadly, no. *whimpers* I would LOVE to go visit London. I'm hoping that one of the professors in the English department will plan another trip for next summer. As for other places, I'd really love to go to Ireland, Scotland and Italy. In the states, I still haven't been to New York. There's so much I'd want to do over there too.
5. How long have you been watching DW and who/what brought you into it?
I've been watching DW since 2005. I'd have to blame my mom for getting me hooked on the show. She told me the storyline and how she used to watch it back in the 80s. I was curious so I thought "I'll give it a try." When it started airing on Sci-Fi (or Syfy, as it's called now) we watched it every week. It didn't take that many episodes for me to get addicted to it.

Nah, it's just the insistence of Huddy-shippers and Lisa Edelstein, we'd totally get Hameron if not for them *grumbles*
*sigh* Yeah, I want to visit so many places, finding the oppurtunity is the trickiest part...
