*Is Hopeful*
Thanks to everyone who had written encouraging words to me! I really appreciate it. Things are looking up... well, sortta. On Tuesday I will be heading out to Kona, again, but this time for an interview. I got a second interview with Maunalani Bay Hotel and Bangalows. It's the same hotel Kristie (Asato) works at! Can you believe that?! It's kinda funny. So I'll be having dinner with her Tuesday night. They're letting me stay at the hotel over night and I will be meeting with a few of the managers there. I'm totally looking forward to it and have accepted that fact that I may end up living on the big island.
If I do get this job it is a "HAM" position (Hotel Assistant Manager) which is pretty fricken' awesome for someone coming straight out of school! It's a direct placement position, which means I get placed right into it. Instead of a "management trainee" position. I think I only get like 6 weeks of training--? Anyway, wish me luck!
