[Late night roaming - open]

*After what happened in a foggy part of the Nexus, Gust found herself having problems sleeping again. Not that yet more nightmares should really come as a suprise, not after what happened last time ( Read more... )

Ideally, Ghostbusters, though Terra was doing quite well. She could stay up later than usual, since she was working the late shift the next day. Anyway. Terra could be there in minutes if Gust so wanted. Or the conversation could go on with her lounging on her bed and just relaxing. Though that wouldn't be very appropriate.

*Ghostbusters versus Silent Hill would be epic. Slimer versus Pyramid Head? Gust does end up dialling Terra, though she resolves to hang up within four rings in order not to wake the other girl up, just in case.*

It'd be hard to wake her up if she's not asleep. Though her bed really is like a dream. Must be that... posturepedic... thing. Space mattress. Hopefully it didn't come with Martians.

Terra still answers fairly quickly. "Hello?"

*Well, Miss Martian IS a shapeshifter... >_>*

Ah - hi. Uh *Gust blinked and looked for a bench to sit down on, since talking and walking was a bit much for her concentration levels right now.* Can talk for a bit? - It's late, so if not, understandable.

Sleeping with someone was not a concept foreign to her; sleeping on someone, however...

Oh, she'd recognize that voice anywhere. Or the speech patterns. Or, yeah. She knows who it is. "Yeah, Gust, of course we can. What's... where are you?"

*She looks around - where was she, anyway?* In town. Near pizza place *he could see the sign, anyway, not too far away. So that totally wasn't a lie!*

Oh, Terra was very familiar with that area. "I'll be there as soon as I can. You should be able to see me come in, if I can't find you." She was of course worried that this was about... well, the Nexus haunting probably was out of the question, since that only happened once to her and Star. So whatever it was.

Okay. I'll walk to pizza place, should be easier. Thanks *Gust hangs up and puts her phone back in her pocket, then stands up to walk over to the pizza place. The streets aren't exactly empty, but they're certainly quiet, and the streetlamps are the main source of light. She waits a little way away from the entrance, smoothing her skirt almost nervously.*

Pretty much as soon as the call ends, Terra's off. And it doesn't take her very long to get to the pizza place. (After all, Cyborg had planned an optimized route a while back, just in case there was ever a need for emergency pizza.) She brings the rock down as gracefully as possible and doesn't try sinking it back into the earth, since that'd just tire her out and waste time. Instead, it goes into a nearby alley.

Bringing herself to the entrance and seeing Gust there, Terra gives a meek little wave. "Hey. Uhm. I'm here."

*Oh hey it is a Terra. Gust did indeed see her coming, so by the time Terra lands, she's got a small smile on her face. Wave!* Hi. Hope I'm not keeping up, or anything.

"Heh, don't worry about it." Well, she seemed pleasant enough! That was a good thing! "So, uh. You want to, like, grab a slice or something and talk about it?" Whatever it is. "I'm buying."

... Sure. Pizza sounds good *as if to underline the point, Gust's stomach rumbles slightly. She hadn't had much of an appetite earlier, oddly enough, but now that Terra mentioned it she's realising how hungry she actually is.

They go in? :o*

They go in! And Terra almost immediately places her order. Which, since it's just a slice of cheese, is totally uninteresting. While she's waiting for Gust to place hers, she gets enough money out of one of her belt pouches to cover it and starts scoping out tables, so when the both of them are ready, she can pay and they can sit down and conversation can start.

*Gust orders the incredibly interesting slice of salami and onion. FUN TIMES. And then she follows Terra over to the table and sits down. She fidgets with the beads in her hair, her napkin, and her fork before finally talking.* Ran into fog again.

Wow, it sure was funny how quickly Terra could lose her appetite just from four words. "...Really? What, uhm..." Her voice lowered. "What happened?"

*Yeah, haha, maaaaybe Gust should have waited until after they'd finished eating to spring that one. Oh well, she'd never been very good at evasive conversation anyway.* Got lost in Nexus, a park. There was... odd statue, then... *she looks down at her pizza, both hungry and lacking an appetite, and tries very hard not to freak out at the memory of what happened next.* Uh, it... th... um. *... Okay, she's having trouble describing it. This is probably bad, huh, Terra?*
