Miscellany

I spent a good deal of this weekend in discomfort thanks to a rib that decided it wanted to go out of alignment--not the sharp, stabbing pain I've had in the past that would've driven me to the chiropractor asap today, but just enough that it was slowly starting to drive me mad with its persistence. When I woke up well before my alarm this morning with it bothering me, I snapped a little and decided to see if I could do a self-adjustment. The good news is I'm pretty sure I managed to pop it back in (hooray). Bad news, the muscles in that area protested the days of abuse and possibly being squished for that purpose and went into spasms. So now I'm sore there, but for a different reason. :P

Not much else going on in my life, I guess you can say I'm treading water. I have some stuff coming up and things I need to do, but either they're not that important to anyone else or it's not my place to share it on my blog.

OH. Well, there is one thing I guess: I'm going to the Thor Loki Marathon on Thursday afternoon/evening, which I'm pretty sure I mentioned. I'm suffering from a not atypical dichotomy where I'm looking forward to it immensely and yet forgetting it's on Thursday and other stuff I might plan to do that night can't be done. :)

Thinks to Do
1. Get to Michael's to check for a pretty binder (and possibly buy more kitchen cotton yarn)
2. Get to OSH to buy new furnace filters
3. Pay insurance
4. Go grocery shopping
5. Make freezer food
6. Do the damn dishes.
7. Clean the damn house - I have a houseguest coming in early next week. My plan is do this over the weekend, but there's no reason I can't start it earlier if I have time, dumbass
  • Declutter the dining room table
  • Declutter the breakfast bar
  • Declutter the kitchen
  • Scrub the kitchen sink
  • Clean the guest bathroom
  • Declutter the guest room
  • Make up the guest bed
  • Vacuum bedrooms
  • Finish putting laundry away
  • Sweep the rest of the house
  • Mop
