Somehow I have a subscription to Bloomberg Businessweek. I don't know how it happened, but I am now tremendously grateful because it's a damn good magazine. This week Andy Grove wrote a great opinion piece about the US economy where he points out that the US is well on its way to becoming a stratified society thanks to "free trade at all costs".

I spend four days a week watching over highly paid people as they sleep, and this is one of the few growth industries here in Philly. Is this how many of us will live, as servants to the rich?
