Administrator Radio Etiquette
The fact that most of the employees have to carry around 2-way radios at work, as I have said time and time again, is the worst part of this job. The Administrator, whom as I have also reiterated as a dunce, has the strangest of all radio etiquette. What she does is say the word "please" at the end of every statement or question. She says "please" like most people who use radios say "over". Examples from bad to worse:
"Who is the aid on the first floor, please?"
"Will someone please tell me where Mandy is, please."
"Linda, Joey is coming down to get you, please."
"Terry, you have a telephone call at the front desk, please."
I don't have to keep giving examples. Just think of anything and add the word "please" at the end.
This woman is responsible for the lives of about 100 people.
