Christmas Morning

Dec 25, 2007 11:49

Those who attended Batmas receive their presents there, those who didn't will find them either hand delivered in the middle of the night, Santa style, or simply left where they can easily be found.

It'll be small things, mostly, playing it safe. Pretty much everyone Terry knows how to find in the Nexus will get at least some chocolate, some random trinkets, and a set of pajamas. Some people, though, get a little bit more.

Shard gets pajamas as well, although specifically with the Bat symbol all over them (in adult size, man, the Nexus mall really does have everything) There's a simple note saying 'Figured if you liked the pattern as a kid... Yours, Terry'

Changeling gets his jammies in the style of one of the shows from Terry's generation. One of the kiddie ones about friendship. There's no tag on them, but there is a Batarang with a card. 'Your name here,' it says.

Mikey gets all the generic stuff, a couple of stress balls in the hopes he'll fidget a little less with them, and a single Batarang engraved with his first name (Well, as much of it as Terry knows).

'You are impossible to shop for,' the note says, and the contents seem to prove it. There's a collection of Bat paraphernalia -- an engraved Batarang, Bat Jammies, the works. There's also one of those little three eyed aliens from the original Toy Story (his mom made him watch every old Disney movie ever, and that chant caught in his mind for some reason). There's a miniature walkie talkie hidden inside, poorly enough that a three year old could find it.

His boss's tiny alternate does NOT get a Batarang, as that just seems a bit obnoxious. He does get pajamas to match Shard's, and a snowglobe of Gotham with some cash hidden inside. It's Terry's version of a gift card. The note says 'From young to younger.'

The old man also being impossible to shop for as well, he gets a variety of small but practical things, some votes from Ace, and a decked-out Batcave. Even if Terry gets grounded for that one, it'll be worth it.

Max gets the full Bat package -- she's a honorary one, after all -- as well as some computer parts Terry picked up in the Nexus. Maybe she can figure out what to do with them.

Kaa does not get pajamas, and the chocolate is replaced with fruit.

Terry's apprentice gets kiddie pajamas, the Batarang, and Terry's attempts at swinging some vacation. He also gets a cardboard cutout of a key with only one word written on it -- 'soon'

Sarah, Ellie, Skuld, Kon, Fangs, Victor, Nagi and Ginta will all be receiving the standard pajamas and chocolate package, as well as small gift cards to the Nexus Mall. Each one is being held in the hand of some kind of stuffed animal, just so he'd have something to wrap.
