Other days, he looks at himself in the mirror and barely recognises his own reflection. Not even his eyes’ colour has stayed the same. He feels like a stranger in his own skin.
But then, he remembers her words "This is the real you". Is it really? Then, as in an afterthought, her parting words echo in his head: "Mutant and proud".
He can't help but grin. May be it's not so bad to be Beast.
