Siryn looked over the assembled. "Right. Derek and Claire, start combing through his New York. Anyone who's good at tracking, you're with them. Dr. Harper, that means you and your hounds, I'm thinking. Eiko, how are ye at processing a crime scene, should we find one? And who'll be tending to Sarah while this is going on?"

Melinda gnaws on her lip, but other than that she's pretty calm. She has a large backpack slung over her back and a cellphone. There's a can of mace with her, too.

Listening, she waits for any orders Siryn gives to her.

"Melinda, what I said to Claire about PINpointing out is doubled for you. Stick with the other searchers as much as ye can."

The teenager nods. "I will. I'll stick with them. I'm a pretty fast walker, so I should be able to keep up."

"Good. No wanderin' off and you'll be fine."

Nodnod. She shifts the backpack slightly, and tucks a couple of strands of hair behind her ears. It's in a ponytail, but she put it in one in a hurry.

"Where should we look for him first?"

"New York City. Borough by borough. We have no idea what his patrol pattern was like--if he'd been on patrol when he ... when that message went out."
