I live by a certain code of honor that I can't imagine not hating myself even more without. The trouble is not everyone else has a code of honor. In fact most people live by survival of the fittest not matter what. This allows them to do things to me that my honor doesn't allow me to do to them. This is no place for a samurai, but a ninja would probably do quite well for themselves.
