Hi, my name is Deirdre, but somehow or other on the internet I ended up going by MICHELLE. I am terrorcandy at livejournal. I'm a grad student, which means I am overstressed, highly caffeinated, develop a lot of stress headaches and contribute nothing to society. I received my BA in Political Science/International Studies in the spring of '08 and my MA in International Studies: Japan Studies in spring of '10. Studied Japanese language in Tokyo from '10-'11, and now I'm going for my doctorate in Political Science. My dad says I am in training to be a thought worker - I prefer the term professional bullshitter. My hometown is on the East Coast, my school is on the West Coast, my heart is in Tokyo still.
