otherwise stuff is mostly ok, have been dealing with a few minor medical things, i have to get some very minor surgery, but nonetheless i am real scared about it, just cuz i have never needed to before. also some regular dentistry crap, having to see a periodontist cuz i have lots of plaque. not too much fun, and i hate missing work for all the appointments....
work is hard, sometimes REAL hard, but still very rewarding for me. I am blessed to have this job, with these people.
got an iphone finally. its a 3g, since they are on super sale since the 3gs came out. 99$ so i figured why not, and bought one for each of us. it rocks, super useful tool, way better than the blackberry i had a few years ago. I have played a bit with the sdk, the temptation is there to try and make some kind of app but i haven't thought of anything compelling yet to be worth the time....
i still mess with my robots when i can, the latest is that i bought a R/C Wall-E toy, and ripped all the guts out and made it autonomous. It just drives around and tries not to run into stuff. I am trying now to make it smarter and more expressive, i wanna make the head and arms move and have it make some sound maybe.
looking forward to vacation, mom and scott and julia and the kids are coming down, which is fantastic. i miss them! i wanna spend some time at the mountain too, despite the hokey theme park the rest of it is actually really nice. also just anticipating some relaxing time off, which sounds good right now.
