(no subject)
this weekend was so much fun-- i went to kent for a couple days and lodi for labor day.
it was great spending time w/ rachel and mary, and we all have some very amusing stories that i don't feel like sharing with the whole world, so ask if you want to know. let's just say it was a good time and it may take a while to catch up on sleep again.
i got to see my dad's side of the family yesterday, which was really nice! we went swimming in uncle joe's new pool (really awesome) even though this weekend was kinda shitty weather-wise, but still fun. there was also some cornhole action (as there was the night before) which has done something shitty to my back, lol. i got to see sandra too because she's going on a hike with my dad later this week :) she made these drinks for everyone which were apparently pretty strong... i wish i could have joined in on that, but the 2 hour drive back to school didn't agree with that very well. haha-- at least alexa had a sober cornhole buddy :P
i feel like all i do anymore is read, read, read. good thing i've decided not to read for 2 of my classes or i wouldn't have ANY free time!
i'm loving the house here-- it's so nice to have a kitchen and my own bedroom. we don't cook much though so i'm always hungry, but i guess you'll have that. it's always nice when friends have cookouts or we go out to eat somewhere :)
