(no subject)
so the week before i left for school was lots of fun.... i got to see a lot of people (even nicki schubert!) and did fun things like jet skiing!! i miss everyone from home though, so let's make sure we all still do a good job of keeping in touch. :)
we moved in on tuesday and it took us a couple days to get the living area situated, but now it's sooo cute!! we've had people over pretty much constantly because it's a nice place to stop on the way to campus, so yay for visitors! we also have a pole right in the middle of the house (it used to be a mail place or something before it was a house, we think?) that we cleaned and tomorrow i think we're painting it bronze... oh yeah. people have already danced on it so there will definitely be some more good times in the house :P
dad came today with the rest of my stuff... everything fits in my room! yay! and my window air conditioner is nice- especially since today was so hot and muggy!
we went to our friends' apartment tonight for dinner because they cooked spaghetti... i'm so excited that we can do fun off-campus things all the time now! although i do miss things about the dorms, i'm loving the freedom and independence of a house!
