Yogostein fic

It was a week since Yogostein left his home, tired of his father's discouraging words. He was covered in filth from sleeping outside, and just when he was at his limit, sliding to the floor with only his staff to keep him up, did he notice someone in front of him.
"Oi, are you okay, zoyo?"
"Kita-san, we should help him out, ojaru."
Yogostein looked up, finding two people from different pollution branches. They didn't ask why he was near exhaustion, or why he was extra filthy, they only brought him back to an impressive home, fixed him up some oil, and let him stay for as long as he liked.
It was a few years later that the three vowed to make a better home for their kind, and began their plot to take over Human World.
Title: Day in the Life

Gaku leafed his way through the assorted metal parts, sure he left his keys somewhere on the cluttered the desk the night before.
There was a jingle behind him and he turned, finding Ranru holding up his keys, a grin on her face. "Noble Eagle had them. I wonder how they got in her cage..." Her grin was mischievous and Gaku mocked a groan.
"Now how did they get in there..."
Ranru plopped down on the couch, bringing a leg up and wrapping an arm around it to lean on, "You were gone for a week for training, and you were dead tired. You're really heavy, you know."
"Ha ha." Gaku grabbed the keys from his girlfriend's hand, sitting down next to her. "And your desk is a mess. No wonder you can never find anything."
Ranru grinned, bumping their shoulders. The pilot returned to gesture until one of them turned to look at the clock. Gaku winced, "And... I have to return to base in fifteen minutes. You have a huge race to get ready for."
Ranru made a small noise as she jumped up from the couch, "Oh no! I can't be late for it! This new guy is supposed to be debuting... Esumi something. I need to tune up his racecar beforehand..." She leaned, kissing Gaku on the cheek before darting out the door, already unfolding her bike.
Gaku grinned, made sure Noble Eagle had food, locked up the door, and headed to work. Life was busy, but the world was safe. That was all that mattered.
