Right now I am talking to my roommate's cousins on Skype because she is in the shower, and they have taken over. She's in Israel at the moment, and I am having quite a serious conversation with them about Camp Rock. I...just. My life. I just looked up the character's names on wikipedia so I could talk about them, instead of calling them things like "the guy that Kevin Jonas plays who really likes birdhouses."
I AM DOING THIS MEME BECAUSE I CAN. I'm on break now and I have at least two weeks before any of my other friends come home, so I am bored out of my fucking mind. Also my term fucking sucked donkey balls basically all the way through. I managed to survive but there was a lot of hysterical weeping, let me tell you. I haven't cried that much in a three month period...basically...ever in my life. Except for my senior year of high school, where I basically cried every day for like, six months! But that is a story for another time.
These are some songs that a) are totally aces and b) I listened to a lot this term.
Forgive Me by Ida Maria. She is crazy good. Also she sings a song about being naked! It's not this one though, sorry.
Wake Up by The Arcade Fire. It's used in the Where the Wild Things Are trailer, which moves me emotionally every time I watch it, I suspect mostly because of this fucking song. Soooo gooooood I'm really crap at expressing why I like music, sorry everyone.
We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed by Los Campesinos! I think you either like los camps or you don't. I do! Ahhh so much teen angst. Drums! Yelling! I...can't explain this song, but it's great!
